YEAAAHHHH.
Today's movie ROCKED(very unlike Knowing...).
Seriously, should have gone and watched it that time instead of Knowing. The difference is so damn OBVIOUS haha.
Regarding today, it was the OFFICIAL prize-giving for the National Inter-Schools. I didn't win, and this time there wasn't a Certificate Of Participation... How come there was one for each of them during the Marathon? I didn't take part that time... =(
Well, we got to wear the jersey up till recess.
Which reminds me, today during Art I scanned my manga-style drawing(along with the more human-looking drawing that Mr Sim drew) and got to 'draw' some of it before the bell rang... Unlike some other Art projects, this one seems to be a lot of fun...
After school I did some... insignificant things. Better not to mention.
So, after some boring stuff I went back to Tiong and met up with most of the rest of the canoeing team. Then we paid for our tickets and went in. Halfway through the movie, Ms Lim and some others joined in.
17 Again is a really nice movie. I recommend that all of you go watch it. =D
After the movie, we split and went home.

Great day today.
Considering today followed friday's timetable.
Which took away the History lesson.(YAY!)
And gave us more art lessons.(Boooo... jkjk, art ROCKS)
So, today during art we spent another three periods drawing more 'manga' characters. Which reminds me, I FINALLY finished my slightly altered drawing of Gazille! We were supposed to find a character which resembles each of us, and I got Gazille simply 'cos he has those evil eyes and that EVIL grin... =D
So, maths with Kung passed like a breeze, and Mdm Sakeena didn't want to give me the Chem worksheet T_T
Well, I got it in the end. I had to say sorry. I still don't see the reason.
After school we had TDP.
Mrs Tee's class seemed to give me hyperactivity today. I just couldn't stop joking around and... well, talking. Near the end she politely told me to shut up.

Haiz... today's lessons were fun.
Although strangely I don't remember why.
Well, after school went with Damien to 'fetch' Syafiq from the SL Forum/assembly.
We saw Terrence at the side, so we went to accompany him XD
We stood there just talking... and as we looked at our School Magazine 2008, we saw some interesting photos. I won't talk about it. My face looks really dumb in my class photo... =X
So after the assembly, Syafiq said that he needed to go for a science test... And I was like ARGH.
Lol.
Wasted half an hour to see him go for his test. Stupid Paul Lee.
Then Damien and I did the usual - interchange and home.

Oh right, I suddenly remembered to be angry at someone.

Ehhh...
Can't post much as I have limited time...
Well, today was the FINALS!!!
Went to Macritchie pretty early today.
Didn't do the cheer. =(
When we reached, the finalists were already there.
So, skipping alot of stuff that I don't remember,
Benjamin lost the first race.
As for the rest, I'm not sure of the results, but I'm sure that Benjamin did end up with a medal anyway from the K2 event with Joon Guan, and so did Syafiq with Yu Chen.
Which reminds me, Syafiq's mother came today to support him. So nice... My parents wouldn't come even if I made it into two finals...
Anyway, after the events we went for the prize presentation, during which I was holding on to the flagpole for our school the whole time... It was fun though, and Syafiq got to see the kind of weird taste I have in girls. Heh, even HE agrees that it's weird. Which explains my WEIRD personality.
After the presentation we took some group photos and the leaving Sec 4s each gave their own speeches while holding the cup with the medals in it... They say it's heavy, so you get the idea of how many we won XD
The Captains gave their speeches too, and we were released.
But not before one last race between the Elites.
I helped to bring the K1s out for the 'Truefinal Race'.
If I'm not wrong, those who took part were Joon Guan, Jiasheng, Waichong, Lava, Hana, Yang You, Gordon, Timothy, Shahril, Joel and Benjamin. Did I leave anyone out? Must tell me. =D
Some of them capsized on purpose. Not without dragging some others like Gordon down too, of course.
Ahh, the sunset was BEAUTIFUL. I'll upload the photos some time(or days) later.
Too bad I don't have the team photos of today. See them on the canoeing blog some time(OR days) later too.
After the 'Truefinal Race' we packed up, some of us changed and we went to Tiong. ARGH, damn late by the time we reached... around 8plus I think... I bought a drink from SweetTalk, loitered around for awhile, said bye and went home. Reached home at about 9:15 and got STARED at by my mother. T_T

Back from movie just now.
Boring...
BENJAMIN WASTED OUR MONEY!!!
The movie started with a crazy girl...
Then a boy...
Then a paper with premonitions...
Then a NICE place crash...

Then an alien ship (HUH!?)
Then four "angels"...
Then Nicolas Cage dying...
Then... the entire world going up in flames!!! NICE.
Btw during the movie alot of puns were made, including
Jarret and Rebecca as the two kids... so damn funny sia... what's more this morning Damien let me listen to a recording which supposedly features jarret saying that he doesn't like Rebecca but LOVES her? O.O
Hahas, don't go watch that movie unless you're with your team which is super united and funny XD

I'm posting before going out again to watch the movie, KNOW1NG.
So, here's what I forgot to input yesterday:
1. I really pity Jared from HCI. His coach sent in the names wrongly and he had to paddle in his C2 with another right paddler - AND he still managed to get into the finals! =D
2. Yesterday, I out-paddled another C-paddler - and this time, his skill was at my level! The fact that I didn't lose to another of my level makes me happy. =)

Today,
went to Macritchie as a support.
Sadly, we were struck by some sort of curse...
First up for GESS was Waichong.
Fourth.
Then came Lava.
Fourth.
Joon Guan.
Fourth.
The only two boats that made it through the semis today were
Vincent and Jarret's T2; and
Amira's T1.
Forgetting that,
I realised that I really dislike girls' schools.
I don't exactly know why.
Maybe cos my little sis is from a girls' school and she's disgusting? Hmmm...
Well, I felt thrilled to see CGS get OWNED by other schools.
Failing that, seeing CHIJ KC get thrashed by CGS felt good too.

gosh, i'm so free.. i'm like posting everyday, haha. anyway, once again:
THE CANOEISTS HAVE PAWNED AND OWNED!
really good job everyone! another 14 boats out of 24 boats qualified today for the next round of competition! that's seriously amazing! that's erm.. *counts* 58.3% the boats! (yes, i used a calculator-.-)which is seriously WICKED! now we have so many supporters, it's amazing! including recognition from other schools! as ms lim has said today-many schools have started to realise our presence in the inter-school nationals! i heard from our ex-senior, yuanzhen too, that many schools said that "gess this year very fast" and stuff like that. it's really very good recognition! so keep up the good work everyone! finally, after so long, gess will show to the other schools what we're made of!
in addition, as you all have heard, HCI only has TWO boats in the finals (for b'boys), while we have THREE! which are our aces! (benjamin, benjamin and joonguan, and the K4 crew!) so medals are guarrennteddd! this year an overall medal is ours! time to kick HCI outta the league! since we already have such a good chance, let's all work harder and make it a double-win:
kick BPHG out of the league as well and overtake them as the OVERALL THIRD CHAMPION! i really believe the guys can do it this time, our team is really a lot stronger now and i suppose the results from the heats can prove that!never before has gess had so many boats qualifed for the semi and finals! i really forsee gess having a great time at the prize presentation where there'd be a whooping amount of medalists!
and for those who didn't manage to get past today-don't give up alright! the team now is stronger than ever, however, if we keep this spirit up, next year you'd all come back AND SWEEP CLEAN THE EVENTS! since you didn't make it this year, train harder and doubly harder(and maybe harder again) for next year so you'd come and show everyone what you're made of! THEN, you'll have this real sense of achievement and accomplishment(:
for those who don't have a chance to compete again as part of the gess team, don't give up hope! there's always junior college(urgh,dunno how spell again) and polytechic! (erm.. ..) moreover, as coach said- the fighting spirit was extremely good and we've surpassed our own barriers and limits! we've gone the fastest we have ever gone and that is what really matters! we've all tried our best and put in our all, and RACED WITHOUT REGRETS! that's what really counts! so don't EVER be discouraged!
as for tommorrow, everyone work hard to all get into the finals! the ace schools like SJI and ACSI are ALREADY in the finals! (lol) so we shouldn't lose to the other boats in the semi-finals! let's all work hard and achieve a 22-boat crew in the finals! that'll really make history! everyone, push yourself hard tommorrow! it's just as crucial as any other day! finish it to the end and push yourself to the limits! never give up at nearing the finish line nor give up first place to take second!

We ROCK!
Anyway, today was kinda... boring?
Because I didn't get to stay in school for long =(
And Terrence See said he would wish us good luck =)
Which he didn't do >=(
So after the bus left for Macritchie, I realised after awhile that the bus was going at like... 5km/h?
Then the bus driver went down to fix it.
And we were moving again.
At Macritchie,
Jiasheng and Yang You ran to the tentage to 'book' it.
BUT!
When we arrived, the *$U^**($%&%^ SJI people were there.
And thier equally %*(%&&**%*%&%^ coach tried to persuade us to move away.
We left, but were DAMN pissed.
Stupid fat man, picking a fight with kids. >=((
Ah, nevermind.
So, my race was the second for the team, after Syafiq's.
At the 1000m mark, saw some A Division C Paddlers.
WA, SO BIG SIZED. O_O
My rivals weren't any better.
So, I lost.
As simple as that.
But I didn't regret it.
Because before the race, I felt that tingling feeling again.
Like before the XCountry.
So I did my best.
Which felt good.

Heh, after my race were plenty others, and we did kind of well.
Oh yeah, after training during the debrief,
a monkey took a loaf of bread.

Finally,
I've decided to blog again.
Alot of things happened recently.
I went to a vegetable farm.
Forgived my cousin(well, more like he suddenly started being more tactful).
Went mini-fishing.
And most importantly, realised something very... important.
It was a pleasant Wednesday training at Macritchie.
Since Damien and I had arrived late, we were forced to take the T1s as those b****** NJC paddlers had taken all of the C paddles and kneepads.
We were joining in the bursting sets, looking smaller than we had been since last year.
And it was then that I realised that
the thrill just wasn't there.
My spark wasn't in the T1.
It never was.
It belongs
in the C Boat.

Hahas, so I found out that the boat that I really felt special and good in is the C1. I just had so many complaints about the speed and the imbalance that I didn't see that it was what made me so like... Xozaron.
Which is cool.
Regarding today,
Terrence See admitted that he WILL be missing us during the Nationals. =)
Which starts tomorrow.
So, we shall need all the luck we can get(especially me) for it.
All of you must remember to give us some encouragement tomorrow!!!

HELLO!!!!
Wow, today was weird.
School was normal. Mr Kung was sorta angry at our results for the Maths Test though. (5 PASSES!? I'm one of them XD) And, Terrence See and I speculated giving some of the Thai students a punch each. Seriously. If they want to fear 3E that much, we'll show them fear to our most *spectacular* extent...
After school, Damien and I went to the Foyer to watch the movie, You and Me. Two reasons why I wanted to go watch it:
1. It's in chinese. I need the education with my crappy grades.
2. I just wanted to delay training ;)

So, we boarded this TEENY TINY bus and were brought to Cathay Cineplexes. Whoa, the place looked nice. Especially with the many GESS students walking up to the upper floor.
The movie was... funny. But it was strangely without a plot. Oh and btw, Damien and I were the only Sec 3s there. Sec 2 Lionel accompanied us throughout most of it. Thanks! =D
After that Damien and I changed into our jerseys and took 167 to Macritchie... again. We were quite late. And NJC canoeists really are(even coach agrees) BASTARDS. They took all of the damn C paddles down into the water! In the end we had to paddle in T1s. The thrill just wasn't there...
So after training, Coach suggested that until the Nationals, Damien and I sould take the C paddles and put them ito our shed. If they asked, then we would just say, "Oh, our Coach left earlier that day so we couldn't give them back and had to place them in our shed." Hehehe. Personally, I wanna try that out...

Yesterday:
Trained like crazy. After a hell lot of sets, the seniors gathered for a debrief behind the shed.
Coach Keng Wi: Tomorrow will be the last very-intensive-training. Since it's the last, we will be training like crazy.
Me: There will be bloodshed.
Coach Keng Wi: So all of you better go home and get a good rest. Tomorrow, eat a good breakfast and gather here by... something realistic... 8.
Joel: Coach, how many sets?
Coach Keng Wi: 32.
Canoeists: 32 sets of what?
Coach Keng Wi: Don't tell you all, later you get nightmare. =)
Canoeists: *OH SHIT...*
Then we did our cheer and dispersed. Mr TeoBK offered to give me a ride if I was going to the school area(he had offered a ride to the sec 1s earlier, and I couldn't help but complain), but only if I had a dry change of clothes. Damien and I CHIONGed to the toilets and met up with Mr Teo at the carpark in 6 minutes.
At the school, the two of us decided to go watch the Sec 2 Prize Presentation. I went up just in time to see Lionel get his prize. Grats to the pro guy!!! Then Shi Ying, the genius. Then Alvina. Super happy right?~ Every level have my friend de!
Then I went to Tiong with Damien. Saw Amira on the way. Damien said something about a dog across the road and got whacked. Then at MacDonalds, Damien tried to buy a vanilla cone with his new SmartCard... and it didn't work!!! HAHAHA. I had to pay for him. All the way after that I kept pestering him about the Flavor Burst I couldn't buy because of him. XD

Now for today.
Was supposed to meet up with Damien and Syafiq at the Mac at Bukit Merah, but Damien left after he thought Vincent and the rest did and was in the 132 by the time I arrived. We watched Julian eat his Hot Cakes and then left. While we were buying our Isotonic drinks, Kelin, Keren adn Persis left without us. >=(
Which ended up with us being late, along with Syafiq and two other Sec 1 girls.
Note: Something depressing happened within Syafiq's family this morning, which explains his lateness. Whoever I catch annoying him, I will hit. Hard.
So, at training, we found out that Coach's 32 sets were 32 of 1min on and off sets. Which wouldn't have given me nightmares anyway.
After the 24th set, I went to save Damien, who had capsized AGAIN. Then I moved on to help Yang You and Jiasheng in their K2. I managed to empty their boat AND save them. XD
But while I was trying to save Benjamin and Joon Guan's K2, Coach told me to continue doing the sets. Fine.
After the 32 sets came the 4 sets of 125m , 2 sets of 100m and 2 sets of 50m. After all these were over, I started feeling SUPER hyper and EXCESSIVELY happy. I don't know why.
Damien and I went to change(Syafiq had left earlier) and we went to Tiong(again. Lol).
At Tiong, bought yet another vanilla cone and we went up to loiter outside Popular Bookstore.
After awhile I heard someone say hi to Damien. Then I turned to him.
Me: Eh Damien, your girlfriend call you.
Damien: Huh? Orh.
Me: We wait here for her lah, then you see each other liao then can talk, kiss and then- nevermind, later my head something wrong if I go on.
Damien: -_-
Me: Ok, later if the other canoeists come or your 'girlfriend' leaves then we go home.
Damien: She not my girlfriend la...
Then after awhile he went into the CD shop to go window-shopping. I stood outside. The Table Tennis members left. I went into the CD shop to talk to Damien.
Me: Eh Damien, your girlfriend go liao. Let's go out.
*Outside*
Me: Ok, she gone liao. Let's go home.
Damien: Awwww...
Me: Okay, okay, SORRY LA. Should have called you out. How I know you wanted to talk to her?
Damien: *glare*

Then we went to the interchange and dispersed.

Damien made me SOOO mad. >=(
At macritchie, we were carrying a T2. He wanted to put it on his shoulder. Then,
BANG!
I looked back and shot him an annoyed glance. "Damien!"
"It's slippery!"
"That's a Sec 1 excuse!"
Then I just stared at him for a few more seconds before moving. He didn't look angry or worried that he had dropped the damn boat. Which just made me even more pissed.
During the sets, he gave me a silent reminder that his strokes were in fact BETTER than mine. Yes, better. He just doesn't want to use his strength. He's better and stronger than I am, but he's surprisingly lazy when it comes to canoeing(unlike when he's 'begging' for merit points, something which he nearly always succeeds in). He just likes to paddle faster than I can in sets, then slow down and tell me after training, "Your strokes very good leh!"
I don't know if he knows, but it makes me feel stupid. Inferior.
So, after the training the two of us took our kneepads(which I'm carving right now) and left the shed. Syafiq and I changed, and the three of us took the 132 to Far East Plaza(shhh, don't tell my family). Damien and I bought a drink each and we got onto the next bus, where Shi Ying and Jazz were. Then, the usual interchange and home. I reached home at about 9. =X

P.S. I'm thinking of downloading BannedStory, the simulator. It's to make some 'comic strips'. if my interest is sustained, then I'll be making some pics soon and posting them here. =)
